Diagnostic Services

Diagnostic Services

At Caring Hands Pet Clinic, we offer a wide range of in-house diagnostic services to help identify and treat health issues quickly and accurately. Our experienced technicians perform routine testing for internal and external parasites, as well as urinalysis to assess overall organ function and detect infections.

Our team is trained to run comprehensive diagnostic panels that evaluate liver, kidney, pancreatic, and heart health, as well as identify conditions like anemia and electrolyte imbalances. We also offer rapid testing for diseases such as:

  • Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV)

  • Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV)

  • Heartworm disease

  • Parvovirus in dogs

To complement our in-house diagnostics, we partner with a nationally recognized reference laboratory and regularly consult with veterinary specialists in Internal Medicine, Pathology, and Oncology to ensure the highest level of care.

Digital X-Rays & Imaging

Many conditions in adult cats and dogs—such as diabetes, thyroid disease, cancer, and infections—require advanced diagnostics to detect. In addition to physical exams and lab work, we utilize digital x-rays and ultrasound to help us visualize internal organs and identify abnormalities.

For more complex cases, we work closely with a board-certified veterinary radiologist who provides expert consultations and performs on-site ultrasounds using state-of-the-art equipment.

Our diagnostic approach combines modern technology with practical experience. Our veterinarian uses clinical expertise and thoughtful evaluation to help shorten the time and cost involved in diagnosing your pet’s condition.
