Diagnostic Services

Our trained technicians run routine diagnostics for internal and external parasites, as well as urinalysis testing. Caring Hands Pet Clinic doctor and technicians are capable of running numerous types of diagnostic panels, including evaluations for liver, kidney, pancreatic and heart disease, anemia and electrolyte imbalances. We can also test for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), Heartworm disease and Parvo Virus in dogs.

Associated with our comprehensive diagnostic services, we contract with a nationally recognized reference laboratory and regularly consult with experts in the field of Internal Medicine, Pathology and Oncology.

Adult dogs and cats may develop many different disease conditions. We use a combination of our physical exam, lab work, x-rays, and ultrasound to diagnose conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disease, cancer, and infectious diseases. We regularly collaborate with a board-certified veterinary radiologist for consultations and on-site ultrasounds, using more advanced equipment. One of the best aspects of Caring Hands Pet Clinic is the excellent diagnostic capabilities of our doctors who use experience and common sense to cut the time and cost of diagnosing problems.
